I love my new Canon R5’s viewfinder. I put off going mirrorless for years in fear of it, but am really loving all the info it can display. The only thing that bugs me is the diopter can’t be locked. None of Canon’s cameras I know of have a diopter lock either. For what ever reason I always manage to knock it out of adjustment on a regular basis. The other thing is that all the digital viewfinders I’ve used over the years, need me to press my glasses to it in order to see the whole frame and info. This ends up smearing my glasses when my eyeball hits them. Rrrrr

I haven’t had a problem with the lock but I am with you on the glasses,, very annoying.
I know! I have no problem with my vintage film cameras viewfinders, It’s not the electronic either because I had the same problem with the 5D series Canons
